Postby TurboKen » Thu Jul 27, 2017 7:30 pm

Hi, I recently purchased a rear spoiler for a coupe, I was wondering do they have any measurements in the Pontiac shop manual to drill for the rear spoiler holes

thanks for your help

I just eyeballed it, held piece in place, marked studs and drilled larger holes so could adjust into place perfectly.

I could eyeball it too, I just wanted to know if there were some measurement in the shop manual, I kinda like my holes tight:^)

Ken when I did my first one to a car that wasn't so equipped, I did the paper over the bottom of the spoiler, popped the paper over the stud one by one then trimmed the paper to the outside of the spoiler, placed the paper on the deck slid around until I was happy, then taped it in place, to then transfer through the paper into the deck. Yes this was way before the widespread availability of cheap MIG's so to answer that question YES my A :censored: S was well puckered [I was a kid with every penny in my Baby, so no room for error] It turned out very well.
