Ken when I did my first one to a car that wasn't so equipped, I did the paper over the bottom of the spoiler, popped the paper over the stud one by one then trimmed the paper to the outside of the spoiler, placed the paper on the deck slid around until I was happy, then taped it in place, to then transfer through the paper into the deck. Yes this was way before the widespread availability of cheap MIG's so to answer that question YES my A
