Cool seeing that black #10 Vega racing around.
And some of the gals, too. Brings back memories of junior high for me.
Was that Jungle Jim and Pam in the early part of the video?

Bug, it was a Datsun 510, not a 210.
Would have been cool to see a Datsun B210 Hatch racing around.
I hate the style of the 510, but they were very popular for some reason back in the day - probably due to the OHC engine - 2/3rd's of a 280Z.

The 510 also had an IRS, giving it the nick-name of "poor man's BMW".

Yep I meant 510. They were quite formidable back then. I had a buddy that they're family built and scca autocrossed 70's 240s.... and a couple 510s. 510 s were ugly to me, but man would they go. It tore him up that my 140 hp 301 Firebird would pull his built, weber carbed, 280 motor in his beautifully spoilered, air dammed, whale-tailed, Guards red, BBS wheeled, 280 turbo trans and Recaro seated 240 .... lol. It was a very well equipped beauty. But the 510 owned it on track.

Vegas were not really designed to be race cars - except the Cosworth Vegas of course.

Even the girls were better back then - 100% natural and not from a labratory or plastic surgeon. :th:
