I talked to Doug a few minutes ago. He and his family are well. He is still without power since the hurricane. Fortunately they purchased a concrete house with a concrete roof when they moved and it only had one window that leaked water. Many trees are down around him, he does have a small generator. They were without water for a few weeks but has water now. They are on the south part of the island and most of the repairs from the storm are concentrated on the northern side. Doug wanted everyone to know they doing okay but they have no time table when power will be back. All prayers are welcomed!

Thanks guys, trying to type on this little smartphone. ( Since our internet is cable based) Who knows when that will be reconnected  Doing good, not working much hours but getting by fine. Pretty much back to normal . Was using about $20 a week on gas for the generator, ( little one) about 8 hours a day running the fridge, TV , fan and a few other things. People bought those big ones and it was costing them. We gave our monster Coleman one to my wife's aunt and uncle. Got a IQ 2000 generac from my sisters.Times were tough for a while but normal now. Thanks to all who were concerned and thanks for the welcome back. :th: Doug in P.R. 8) 8)

Doug saw your posting in the eBay section today, are you back to 'normal' yet with your cable and internet?
