New Vega Owner

Hello all. New Vega owner as of this morning. Picked this up for $400. 1975 Cosworth Vega #0215. Original motor has been pulled but comes with the car. Original Saginaw 4 speed. Floors are gone under seats and some of the trunk. Hood is gonna need replaced as it's rusted pretty much through in front. Really rusty but I'm hoping I can save this old classic.

Give a good look at the area the control arms and trailing arms connect to the chassis, with the floor gone this one may not be able to be saved without some extraordinary effort. Also check under the battery area as the front frame rails are susceptible.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I took a shot hoping I could save it. Let me get it home and I'll get some pics of the damage.

Got it home today. Was -5 degrees without windchill factored in. Was able to snap a few picks. Those floors...
