GT door moldings

Postby Rjordann » Fri Jan 05, 2018 12:17 pm

Not a very good picture, (and yes its mine, lol)but I would like to know (understand) how to remove the chrome trim on the bottom of the side windows. (The ones where your arm would rest if the windows were open)(just behind the outside mirror) thanks for any help in advance

they come off the doors by 2 screws and tabs/clips that attach to the door, the weatherstrip or fuzzy is stapled right to the trim, roll down window all the way and youll see the screw at each end. you may need to rolledge of fuzzy back to see. The rear window ones must have the stationary glass and seal removed, there are screws thru the trim edge into the metal under the seal. (FYI-those are not "gt" molding just deluxe trim reveal moldings, also available on the std vega if deluxe trim was ordered.)
