It was $9800+ before, but I'm guessing the seller lowered the price recently. The ad was modified yesterday.

It is a really nice, clean example. The price is more in line now for what that green sunbird coupe finally sold for. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/SCT/63/1976-Pontiac-Sunbird
I would think that someone will pick it up for that price.

Interesting to see that, even in dry covered storage, that urethane rear cover got a crack starting already.

Bummer - I am sorry I didn't see this earlier. Probably best as that is way too nice to drive.

Wow, ABSOLUTELY no love over there at jalopnitpickers - even worse than than the usual hate for domestic iron in general and H-Bodies in particular.
Sickening that the elitist 'author' uses the M & M words in the same article about an AWESOME PONTIAC.
Hah, Ferrari is mentioned - at least the 'author' got that right. BTW, didn't Ferrari put a 'shade of brown' in the interiors in their red cars? Yes - do a search.
NOS POS? Clever term, but not even close for a Pontiac Sunbird with only 800 miles on it. I think any French commuter car is a POS whether NOS or NS.

POS = Pontiac On Steroids? Yes, if it has a large displacement PONTIAC V-8 engine in it.
My 77 Sunbird is a POS now because it needs a lot of work. And it just has a 151 cu. in. I-4. So, no steroids. More like POLS - Pontiac On Life Support.
But, I am sure it was a NICE car when NEW - Starlight Black paint with black interior. Hopefully, someday soon it will be like new again.
