New toy arrived today

Postby T-FATTY » Sun Oct 28, 2018 7:04 pm

New toy arrived today, 1973 panel/delivery. Fresh simple 350, turbo 350 and narrowed 12 bolt rear. Supposedly built by M&M speed and custom in Poughkeepsie NY when new or near new. Out of long term storage(since 1984) and recently freshened up.
I'll be adding matching rear wheels and tires.

Santa delivered a pretty red sleigh... and it's early for Christmas too!
Looks to be in really good condition - very nice!

I always used to wonder why a car that nice would get stored that long, but now after having kids over a decade ago, I can see how it happens...

Nice! when you get a chance, please post pics of the engine install - I'm curious about what mounts they used and any other era specific items.

Thanks

Way back then Ken, for the fronts, there were many choices! Dave's Vega Village [Re-Drill IIRC], Dobi, Bell (the Buick Guy's), Don Hardy(?) and I even remember JC Whitney selling them [but that could be wishful remembering], and just like that my long list of memories is over. Re-Drills for the rear is all that I can remember. :bang: And I have to add Todd, that the (matching) ET Torque Thrusts on the rear, and you could call that DONE! Some side pipes if you are feeling real nostalgic and you will have a "Bonafide Way Back Machine" I'm Diggin' It! Just like we all remembered and LOVE(D)! :th: Harry
