s10 rotors

Well you guys talked me into the s10 rotor swap so I spent about 6 hours going thru old posts, to really not find the information I was looking for, I know I have read this stuff years ago but can't find it now, so is this what most people do when doing the s10 ball joint, the lower you move 1/4 inch in and weld sleeve or 1/4 inch in and forward? backward? does anyone know where to buy the sleeves? Does anyone know what a dimension for the front end to check for frame spread? Thanks for any help

The lowers are done by enlarging and offsetting the ball joint hole 1/4" inboard then welding in UB Machine S10 ball joint sleeves part number 40-3301. http://www.ubmachine.com/balljointsleeves.html
( the 1/4" takes up the difference from Vega to S10 spindle offset).





the upper control arms are converted by welding up the Vega ball joint rivet holes and then enlarging the hole to fit the S10 upper ball joints and redrilling the upper control arms for the S10 ball joints.
