Braided brake hoses

Postby cjbiagi » Fri Jan 18, 2019 5:39 pm

One of the things on my list of things to do is flush the brake system. It's been quite awhile since I have done that and I know I am over-due. I always thought about swapping to stainless braided brakes hoses which are supposed to improve brake feel and response. Has anyone used hoses for another application or just sought out the correct length hoses? If so, any feedback after switching or suggestions?

Clyde,

I just measured what I needed and got hoses from a race parts supplier. They offer three-piece hoses, with hoses of different lengths and thread-in ends of the configuration you need.

Clyde,
I’d recommend Kore3 for your braided brake hoses. Ask for Tobin. He’s a great guy and he’s got a great reputation in the big brake retrofit community. You can specify the exact length and type of fittings. I purchased a set for my Chevelle and they’re high quality.
