That car is amazing, and Byron is a heck of a guy!

If you ever get a chance to see the car in person, leave yourself some time so you can see all of the mods and craftsmanship.

Chuck is correct, seeing it in person, it is way more impressive than the pictures.

I went to the Autorama yesterday and Byron’s car looked great. I waited around to talk to him, but he must have been looking at the other cars. His was one of only two Vegas at the show. The other was a drag car with a confederate flag drapped over the hood that looked nice as well. I also saw a Monza funny car. The quality of the cars was fantastic this year, so go if you get the chance. My only complaint was the parking, which was very hard to find and cost more than the show.

I was lucky enough to meet up with Byron and we chatted for a few minutes about his car [yes she is a beauty! Agreed] I complained to him about not finishing his build thread in the Project Journals I met his wife both an excellent addition to the "Who have You met" list, real nice people! I also met the owner of the Yellow '76 Drag Vega that was there and he didn't seem to think he had visited us here, so I encouraged him to come join us. The Funny car apparently belongs to The Jeg's gang, I asked where their Vega was and the said they had the funny car with them this time "over there" pointing to the Monza and Mercury Cyclone area. It was an excellent show lots of high Quality rides there. Bryon Burnham's car was also present at Toronto's Motorama this weekend (March 8-10, 2019) but I didn't get a chance to see him. Also at the show was a beautiful 1973 Vega owned by Sandro Covello. I spoke with him for about 15 minutes. He told me it was a 2 year project in the making and that it had been just completed in time for the show. The body and fabrication was done by a local fabricator called Hot Nights Hot Rods. Their booth was right behind the car.
