May have sold the Sunbird Wagon

Postby cammerjeff » Mon Jul 22, 2019 11:58 am

I wasn't really trying, but it looks like I may have sold the Sunbird Wagon, I have to many cars and 2 really have to go to free up space and cash for the other cars. Its was my 1st H-body, but I haven't really driven in the 3 years sense I bought the V8 Solstice. I will miss Lilbird if it does go. Nice solid wagon with a Peppy V6. I will be down to just one Chesterfield Brown Pontiac Wagon, the Catalina Safari.

Now to sell the 69 Firebird like I was Planning on doing.

Thanks Dick, I think you are one of the few people on this site that have actually seen it! I can't remember what I was picking up at your place years ago that I drove it, maybe that junk CV T-350?

Jeff, from old emails I found you were picking up the rear bumper off that badly rusted CV I picked up in Chicago. You did bring the wagon but I was not at home. Remember, I joked to you later about damaging the trashed car when you removed the bumper.

Jeff I have seen it twice. First time when we met at that hobby shop cruise-in [formerly Auto Zone Hobbies, now: https://www.facebook.com/Pasteiners-Aut ... 312960765/] and when I came to your place. I didn't know you were trying to thin the "Heard", you have a few I wouldn't mind, but I have even less money and room than you do! :( Harry

Jeff,
There is never enough room and enough cash when it comes to cars. Ya, the Pontiac Solstice is a looker and fun to drive. Last year I put in a low ball bid of 2,200 on one with a blown motor. Didn't get it but I have my guy looking for one. Buying it for my wife for her daily driver.

Thanks Phil,

Harry I didn't forget you had seen it, I am actually working in your country the rest of the week, in the Ford Essex plant. I am driving near your place twice a day. If you are home around 4-5:00pm maybe I can drop by?

Absolutely let me know. Call anytime, my hearing isn't what it used to be and it seems louder at work, so if I miss you I'll call you back. Sorry I don't get computer time every day (at home). Work is well work. Harry;
