75 Vega Interior Panels

Postby Ben Kordick » Mon Sep 30, 2019 12:29 am

I have a 75 Vega GT with full interior, but I do not have panels for my 73 Vega. Will the 75 panels fit into the 73? Both are hatchbacks. Thanks.

Hi, There should be no reason that the panels would not fit as the body panels stayed the same inside throughout the production run unless i am mistaken. the insides seem to be the same as my former 71 and 72 if memory serves.

They probably will fit, but they are not correct for the earlier cars, if that matters to you.

the pieces will fit in no problem but the rear pillar plastics are made different between early and later cars because of the difference of the cantilever arms for the hatch on the early cars and the shock type arms on the later cars, of course that is on a hatchback model the notch and wagon i believe are the same for all years. there will be a difference in the headliner tween early and later cars because of the non retractable shoulder belts and the retractable ones.
