New wheels and tires

Postby Monzter25 » Thu Apr 02, 2020 11:38 am

It’s been a couple years since I’ve posted in here. Had to get myself a new user name and all lol.
Finally pulled the trigger and bought myself a set of Bassett Racing wheels and some BFG meats.
15”x7” on all four, fronts are 4” bs, rears are 3.75”
205/60/15 front, 235/60/15. I have to say, they look perfect! The exact look I was going for, only took 5 years lol
The great thing about these wheels, is they are made in any bolt pattern and offset. I was able to get 5 lug in the rear(I have upgraded Moser axles) and 4x4” in the front(keeping my stock Monza setup).
Not to mention, at a cost of $63 each wheel. You can’t wrong.

I ditto, Clyde, looks nice and ya it’s often really hard to get the same wheel in a 5 bolt and 4 bolt pattern, especially for a Monza. I notice you don’t have Center caps on the fronts. Do they not fit? I remember having a hard time finding center caps to fit and the ones I did find where plastic and I was hard on brakes back in the day and would end up melting the plastic Center caps, luckily I came across a set of metal ones years ago and treat them like gold now.

The front center caps are on order, should be here soon.

Looks great! I may have to consider them for the El Camino.

I found them myself on Summitracing.com. Just waiting on the fronts now.

If you still have the old plastic hubcaps from the 13 inch wheels, try the metal center caps from those. I used them on my American Eagle wheels.

Did you put a lift kit to get those tires in? I just bought a 77 spyder and it does not look like there is enough room to put 15" wheels in. We are going to try and keep it looking as stock as much as possible.
