Aftermarket rims for '73 Vega GT

Postby LarryWernle » Mon Nov 02, 2020 5:25 pm

So, new member here. I have a set of 4 aftermarket (KEYSTONE) antique “modular” style rims and lug nuts that I used to run on my 1973 Vega GT. Sorry, the car is long gone. The rims are roughly 37 years old, and have been sitting in my basement for roughly 35. They are stamped “T13x5 5JB DOT TEC2 21 83”. My Vega was 4 bolt x 4”, which googles as 4x101.6 today.
They have gold centers and chrome outers, with the 10 “drilled” holes and black cosmetic rivets. The valve stems are there, but they’re 37 years old. No tires, just rims. The center caps are long gone, but I have the lug nuts. They’re all in decent shape, but I have no idea if they’re worth anything. They used to look really nice on my orange & black GT 4cyl stick. They weren’t stock or OEM; I bought them later. I don’t recall the MFR (KEYSTONE).
Mostly I’d like to see them get to a good home, lol. Maybe someone that would actually put them on a Vega? And send me a photo? My nostalgia runs deep today.

Can anyone tell me anything about what I have or who might want them?
Larry

I currently have the same rims but with black Centers and they were keystone as well, pictured on my Monza back in 1986. But back when I bought them in 1984 you had the choice of black centers or gold Centers.

Thanks MonzaAddict and 79MonzaSpyder for the help! I don't recall if "Keystone" is right, but you sure seem to know. If you think of anything else about them, or have any ideas in general, I welcome the input.
Larry
p.s. Adding "Keystone" to my google search still resulted in no good matches, so I'll keep searching . . .

Yep, that's them. My 4-lugs seem a bit more "gold", but I'm sure that's just the photo lighting. So they're Keystone 10 hole modular rims. I have 4. Does anyone want them?

My notes from decades ago say they fit Vega, Monza, Sunbird, etc.

Curious about the looks of those rims as well.
