removeable hood hinges

can anyone direct me to the pics that megavega posted around(may2014?) on how to put steel plates into hood with welded on nuts to make the hood hinges removeable from hood. maybe there were also some other posts on this where someone else did this in maybe a different way. thnnks chevy Art in NY

I tried doing something of the sort but I think at the time I just got a bit too impatient and instead of tacking them I put enough that they've been permanent for the last 6 years

The easiest way of doing this is trying to locate a 77 hood. They were equipped with removable hinges
