1975 Monza Town Coupe 262 V-8

Postby themonzalady » Fri Mar 04, 2022 10:54 am

Does anyone have any ideas about the best salvage yard to use which will have an ONLINE PARTS LIST for many hard to find parts on my car before I let her be crushed? I am located in Vero Beach Florida. I have owned this car for 47 years (original owner) and am willing to let car go but hate to see good parts lost as I know how hard they are to find.....themonzalady

I’m thinking it is this one from posts that were made a couple years ago:

Looks pretty nice in those pics!

Monza Lady that car looks fairly complete and presents well, someone will buy that I am sure, try an advertisement on here again, and on one of the Facebook groups [Monza Madness H-Body Hooligans, etc.] for better coverage I'm sorry to say. It would be a shame for that to be crushed or even parted [but parted is way better than crushing though!] Harry

She is a 1975 Town Coupe, 262 original engine and original transmission. Engine has not been run but ran fine when parked 2 years ago. Oil pressure sending unit is leaking oil, all else ok. Forgot to say 4 speed transmission is ok and original shifter is good.

Thanks, yes, it is the same car. But I parked it outside 2 years ago and is now somewhat trashed. But many parts are good and I have some spares too:, Grill, headlight bezels, emblems, hubcap, other stuff.

Thank you Monza Harry---I wish I could part her out myself but I don't have the ability. Power brake booster was rebuilt professionally and has a new master cylinder. Car has been parked outside for 2 (?) years, so is not like the photos. But very good parts.

I am missing one rear black rubber floor mat that I'd love to get if worse comes to worst, but I'd prefer to see it find a new home...

I expect that whatever it needs to be whole and running again can be found here.
On my third H Body - 1975 Monza 2+2 4.3L Orange/Black (Current State: Running great - needs the AC finished before summer hits hard)
