I'm a VW Bug dude at heart..........

Hence, bug - dewde (pronounced 'dude')

When registering for e-mail several years ago, the address "bugdude@xxxx" was already taken........ so I opted to modify the 'dude' portion with my initials D.E.W. and made it 'dewde'.....

Some folks pronounce it "bug-doodie" much to my dismay.

My favorite monza that I had in 1985. I am currently restoring the same model car, thinking it will be some sort of a time machine for me to get back to 85... :D

This is interesting.

Dwight...I thought it was bug-doodie, as well. Thanks for the grammar lesson!

Ray...Didn't you once post that you were a heavy equipment operator? (I thought I saw a pic once)...just figured your name was Pete.

Mine came from back when we were circle track racing. We were standing around in the shop one day, and a comment was made about the class we were running in (Pro-Stock). The rules were strict enough that we were always looking for ways to stretch them to our advantage, but basically we had to run a stripped-down factory chassis with a limited amount of aftermarket suspension upgrades. Somehow the term 'bare bones' was thrown out. We'd been looking for a team name for a long time, and it stuck.

Just used the same name I had on the EZ Board and on Yahoo. It was my original Yahoo email account and I just stuck with it for ease of transition.

'fyrftr' - It's my occupation, sound it out, you'll get it!

and '50' is just part of my original badge number ('fyrftr' was already taken as a yahoo account so I added a couple numbers).

I'll get back out to Wyoming again. I've got a buddy in Pueblo, CO.

Drove through WY on my way home from Yellowstone a few years ago....it was my favorite state. But windy! Thought it was going to blow the camper over a few times. I asked a guy at a fuel stop if the wind was always like that...he looked at me and said, "This is Wyoming". :railroad:

Went through Cody, Greybull, Sheridan, and Gillette on the way to Custer, SD.

Hey Carl
Toronto Fire doesn't have any Pierce apparatus, as far as I know, older trucks are mainly Macks and Superiors with a few White and American LaFrance thrown in for good measure but a lot of E-ones and Spartans are being added to the fleet now.

Show in Indianapolis???
Are you refering to the World Police/Fire Games held there a few years back? If so, I didn't make it, I tried out for Toronto Fire's 'A' team (hockey, of course, I am Canadian afterall) but, unfortunately, I was the last goaltender cut. Close but no cigar.
