Monza Hatch versus Coupe doors?

Postby monza4me » Wed Sep 13, 2006 5:44 pm

Can anyone verify that the doors between Monza hatchbacks and coupes are either the same or different over the years? I'm looking for a clean hatchback driver's door and there is a clean one availble that came from a coupe version. thanks in advance :?:

The door skin and basic structure are the same but the window and window frame are different. years ago I sold a HB door to a guy with a coupe who said he was going to drill out the spot welds and change the window frame to make it work. As I recall the lock knobs are in different places as well.

The door edge guards are different too. The Coupe ones have more of a curve on top.
