You can buy my C06 for the same price, $1k. It is not a rust bucket. It is a Florida car. It needs restored, but it runs and drives. 3.8, 5 speed, p/s, p/b, a/c. Glass top does have a crack, but it does not leak and is no that unsightly.

Yeah its kind of rough but I think its still restoreable. I do have some photos but will have to dig them up and scan them into my pc and upload them. Ill put them in as soon as possible.its a '76 I picked up in Texas while in the army at Ft Hood. 3.8 Oddfire A/c with the 5-speed Borgwarner T50. Started life a Callifornia car has a rust hole in the passenger front floor and some rust at the bottom of the C-pillers and the interior is baked. :( Still runs but i stole the three row radiator out of it to get my monza to run cooler. just found a good tranny to replace the one my monza expolded; get this, dumped in the ditch near my parrents home.IRONY right where i exploded the old one!

the one im looking at is silver with a 3.8 auto trany (th350?) full guage option rear speaker, woodgrain interior sport steering wheel. i mean the interior in this car is NICE. needs a new hatch(rust) and the passenger side 1/4 nees replace but for 700 what can i say. its too nice to let go.

Hopefully things work out. You'll have to drop by with the car if you do end up getting it since I was the one that mentioned about the car on Craigslist. Haven't seen one in 20 years.

RE SIlver C06

Postby roadhawkc06 » Fri Jul 07, 2006 1:00 am

Hey Kevin!!! I saw that one on Craigslists too!! I'm in Vancouver ...remember me?......I was going to go there and take a look at it, being that it was a 3 hour drive for me.....

I've seen pictures on this car....and YES it IS very very nice.....the interior is unreal mint.....yes it has all options including the tilt with the sport wheel package and gages......

It IS worth the money in my opinion.....its barely rusty.....looks decent.

I'm Restoring a ROADHAWK C06 Car.......slowly but surely.......so I can vouch how nice a C06 car really is.....

As for your silver car(hopefully you pick it up) I can only imagine how sexxy it would be driving that car around with a black interior.........man....I can only imagine........ :D

Let me know what happens!!
