S10 front spidle swap, stock or lowered?

Postby LSnotchback » Tue Oct 16, 2018 12:51 pm

I am planning S10 5 lug swap. Should I look older 82 - 97 or later 98- Spindle? I am going to make adapters for C4/5 front brakes anyway. So front wheel will be 16 or 17”. And for the last, stock height or lowered?

Since you're planning a swap to the Vette brakes, I'd suggest the Blazer spindles. I made an adapter bracket pretty easily to adapt C4 calipers. I used calipers for the standard (thin) rotors, and rear rotors to line up properly with the Blazer hub bearing and the adapted caliper. The rear rotors are shallower than the fronts, but the same rotor friction thickness. There is a photo in my Garage section.
