Is there a difference between a manual steering cross link and a power steering cross link?
Do they interchange?

There is a difference between the two. It has to do with the spacing of the holes for the pitman arm and tie rod ends on one side. It's roughly a 1" difference between the two. As for interchanging... one will "work" in place of the other, but the geometry is not correct. I've got two of each sitting in my garage, I just can't remember which is which. lol

Charlie is correct. The power steering center link is 1 inch longer on the side where the pitman arm attaches. FYI the power steering center link is still available from Schucks on the westcoast. Ordered one last week.

Actually it depends on which manual box you are converting from. If it is the small Vega box that you are converting from to power steering then you need a new centerlink. If you are converting from the Monza/cosworth steering box to power steering then the centerlink is the same. Moog centerink part numbers - Vega ds816
Monza/Cosworth - ds889.

Opps, I screwed up. I took a look at both the manual and ps center link and realized I had gotten it reversed from my previous post. The ps is the shorter one. The moog box says ds889 for the ps and ds 816 for manual steering.
