Traction Bars

Just curious. Why would you put traction bars on a 75-80 H-body (torque arm rearend)?

Isn't the torque arm already the world's longest traction bar or are you trying to control the rotation of the rearend in the longitudinal axis of the car ?

I think those traction bars were actually designed around the earlier Vega 4 link setup. Traction bars work on rearend rotation and that is pretty much controlled by the torque arm and lower links. You would have to have a pretty tight gap between the snubber and lower are for them to do much of anything.

That's pretty much what I thought.

Thanks

They will help save the torque arm also.
