Does anyone know if there is a polyurethane bushing kit out there for our cars?

Energy Suspension sells poly upper and lower control arm bushings. You can order them from Summit.

This is one of those jobs where "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind. This could be one of the worst automotive tasks out there. That is removing the front lower control arms. It depends on your vehicles condition. If you must replace your worn out bushings don't forget to buy a tub of the grease. Your car will squeek like heck without it. I learned the hard way.

Well it is not broke, but before I bought the car (best $50 I ever spent) it was sitting in a field for 3-4 years and I am worried about the bushings and such. I know that there is no rust underneath it because we inspected that before we bought it. Got it home and within 1/2 hour with some carb cleaner and fuel stabilizer had it running lol.

I got the stuff from PAW. I asked the counter guy and he walked over and pulled this stuff off the shelf in a little white styrofoam tub. It looks and feels like clear silicone sealer but it doesn't set up. Its sticky. I lubed the polyurethane bushings-every surface. It was oozing out everywhere and got plenty on the cam bolts and ferules so I didn't mind rust proofing everything. I haven't driven it much since then, but its been quiet so far. As for the zerk fittings. I don't know. I don't know if they make this stuff for grease guns but I'd probably try graphite grease. Anything would probaly work good there because you can get at it whenever it needs it.
