SVT Contour brakes?

Postby Tailssideup » Mon May 28, 2007 4:32 pm

Dunno, I was talking to my buddy with an SVT Contour and we where talking about my plans on the Sunbird, I mentioned that my options where pretty limited as far as brakes go because I want to stay 4-lug. He said his where 4 lug on the Contour, I told him that 100 spaced wouldnt work, he said its 108. Do you guys know if that is close enough to work with a 4 lug spacing? Thinking of experimenting with the brakes to see if I can upgrade.

I think the 4 x 4 works out to 101.5mm or something like that.

I put Honda Civic wheels on my Ford Focus. The Civic was 4x100 and the Focus was 4x108. I had to send the wheels down for machining. They drilled the lug holes outward and inserted them.

It was expensive but my car was unique in that those wheels had never been put on a Focus. Anything can be done.
'72 Vega with '93 Camaro LT1/M29 T56/12 bolt 3.31. 16" IROCs all around. Sanderson headers into duals with an H-pipe and Flowmasters. It's loud but at least it's faster than your grandma's Buick. pwned.
