Thats also a really good idea with the sleeve welded into a fabricated controla arm to thread in a "Tie-Rod" end into it and use it as a ball joint.

I wonder if that would be strong enough for a full chassis H-body?

God bless

Tie rods used as ball joints? I think not. MAYBE on some odd-ball Lotus Super7 clone like the "Stalker", but not on my H-body! Having that kind of adjustment on an upper ball joint would be great, but no way would it be strong enough to drive on the street. Just my 2cents worth.

I had horrible turning radius after I did the S10 conversion on my Astre.

To fix it, I cut off the bumpstops on the LCA. They hit the bumpstop that was on the S10 spindles themselves. My turning radius is as good as ever now. And the bumpstop on the spindle keeps things good.

Those images are so small, I can't see any detail in them.
NOTE: It is OK to post large images on a web-site. Or at least provide a link to a larger image.
This isn't a magazine that has to provide a small amount of filler space between all of the advertising.

This I can see: that Stalker is one butt-ugly car.
No offense to anyone who may own one though. :)

That's what you need to use a rack and pinion with its limited lateral travel.
