With the stock mounts(and the short water pump) the power steering won't fit in front of the head, so the OEM brackets mount it "high and outside", which is not only ugly, but also requires the Monza rad with the angled inlet and the funky thermostat housing that also points off at a weird angle. The street rod suppliers may have other lower mounting solutions, but I doubt if anything aftermarket will fit in our tight H-body engine compartment. I don't think I'm helping, am I?

This is what I used:

Power steering pump and LH cylinder head mounting bracket from Lefthander Chassis, a Corvette RH alternator attaching bracket for headers, a universal Chevy lower alternator bracket with the forward mounting hole cut off, and some flat steel.

These are used with regular double sheave pulleys. It worked out because I needed the outer sheave for the alternator, to clear the Monte SS power steering gearbox.

Power steering on the right side? Looks cool, but the plumbing could be interesting. Also left side alternator requires a right angle turn in the rad's inlet.

It's been working since 2003.

Using a Long pump 2 groove WP pulley with a spectra fan spacer, and shims short 3 groove crank pulley, and a stock Steel (can't find one in chrome press in) PS 2 groove pulley custom PS bracket with 15470 15460 durlast belts I think I got it :P

The pump and brackets you neeed are off of just about any 62 thru 68 small block car with ps. I used one off of a 62 impalla years ago on a vega I built and it all bolted right up with zero problems.
