Part II: A Closer Look into the 5 Lug Conversion (Front)

Postby jdmrh07 » Tue Dec 04, 2007 2:35 am

Ok, I know its been a while--- but a lot of stuff happened in the last 2 months. The end of my enlistment in the military, moving to a new house, new area, finishing the Monza, etc etc.

But now I'm through all of that, and the Monza is done. Since I didn't take any pictures of my progress when I was in "work" mode, I have to stop and think for a minute; There was ALOT involved in that conversion...

The question now is--- Is there a definate interest on here for me to continue this thread like I did in part I?

http://forums.h-body.org/viewtopic.php? ... sc&start=0

Just need to know, before I spend the time doing the write up and pulling the wheels off, and start taking pictures of everything, etc etc...

Thanks!

I would say, if you can afford the time it takes to go through all that for us, it would be well received and should be archived on this website for others to use. This kind of info is highly recommended!!!

It might be best to start the post in the restoration section, how to, or project journals, rather than here in General info, it would get shuffled to the back pages too fast here.

If you can find the time to do it (and I know it takes a bit of effort) I for one would be very grateful, and I am sure many others will be also.

jdmrHo7; Your first article was good,,,,, "so good", but to make part two,,,, would give the  "inthusisist" , h/body owner a how to on a subject most favored by the  tire and rim, the disk upgrade's spindle swap's and rear end upgrade suspension post's and also get you another "favorites" vote. I don't need it, but I know it would be an invaluable resource to have on these cars, since this is the second best thing to do to these cars, and everyone asks anyways.

It's not complete but there may be something useful.
