I have a set of 14x7 zero offset rims (3.5 inch backspace )
what tire size should i be able to run and still keep the tires within the body line without the fender lips rolled ?

if you look on v8 monza.com they have faq with suggested wheel tire sizes. what you wont find is the fact they the vega and monza have different wheel well sizes. so those should fit correctly on your monza with out modification. i found out after the fact that i spent a hefty chunk of change on rims and tires. :bang:  :? :? :D 8)

How much room do you have on the inside of the rears? I was wanting something like this but tucked in a little more? I have 15x8 w/3 1/2 bs,.. I like the 255's look better than the 235's but will they fit under the lip without mini tubing with a narrow rear end? TC

i have the bare minimum ? room on the rears .the rear is the stock rear housing that came in the car. nothing is tubbed .as far as running the 235s,im sure they will fit better but im not sure if you can pull it off with out mods to the rear fender lip .i did what i had to to keep my rim and tire combo. :bang: yeah i know, not much help.

275/40/17 tires in front and 315/35/17 rears . 12 bolt full floater differential out back and no tubbing required. just a lot of 75 IMSA body work pieces give the needed clearence.

wheels are
14x7 Cheviot Hurricane 3.5 inch backspace (zero offset ) tires are 205/60x14 and they fit inside the lip (unmodified ) ,i want to keep my tyres inside the body line i could probably go to 215,s with no issues and i have approx 1/2 inch clearance on the inner fender
ohh the car also needs to be lowered a touch (3rd gen rear coils are fitted )i am waiting till i have fuel in the tank etc before i set the ride height :)

Reading through this, I was wondering if anybody is putting down Lug spacing and if its a 5 or 4 lug. Actually, to run a pretty wide tire, what backspacing are alot of you guys using?
