Moser engineering said don't worry about the spacer because it would all be sandwiched together and held in place from the force of the lug nuts
They bolted right up just as I thought so here goes a parts list, please bare in mind that this was done to a spare cosworth housing and i am awaiting the final parts to arrive (5/16,3/16,and 1/8 inch wheel spacers) so no drive time involved
parts i used:
s-10 series disc brake mounting bracket, bolts to housing w/ 4 bolts 2 or 4 wd ok X2
" " dust cover/ e brake shoe, 2 or 4 wd ok X2
" " caliper bracket, bolts to mounting bracket w/2 bolts 2or 4wd ok X2
" " calipers, 2 or 4wd ok X2
" " 2 wd Rear rotors they are 43.99 @ autozone no core charge look for a 2001
2wd s-10 blazer
" " 2wd drum brake axles 9/16th" too short (won't reach the rotor)I might add here your gonna need longer studs too still researching this though will add what I used later(I used 1/2" longer wheel studs from local NAPA, pretty cheap)
" " 9/16th inch wheel spacers ( measure yours before purchasing they are available in 1/8,3/16,1/4,and 5/16 for less than 12 bucks via ebay)X2
" " wheel studs approx half inch longer napa in my area has best selection but autozone has them too 1.99-2.49 each X10
" " Disc/ Disc master cylinder 2 or 4wd ok,kinda pricey without the core I pulled one from the bone yard and there were 3 others there too
Now what i know that doesn't work 4wd rotors, disc axles of either(2wd too short to get the C-lip in 4wd too long) i will add more when I put them on the car, on my car the top bolt holding the caliper on on the drivers side will need some cleareance I am going to use an adjustable panhard bar to pull it over about 1 inch but a holesaw and a sawzall would work to (drill hole, cut bottom out to look like an upside down U ) but it's 3 layers of metal gonna take a minute to do
i currently drive a geo metro, insert silly joke here,, but i'll pass you while your getting gas
If you don't have time/money to do it right the first time, how will you have time/money to do it again. Timmy
