Will newer style Cavalier wheels fit a Vega?

I like the plain-jane steel wheel look of the Cavalier and Impala police cars with the chrome center caps. But they have a very deep offset to the inside and I don't know if they would fit - especially on the front when you're turning. They are 15" wheels but I don't know if they're 6 or 7 inch rims. Please let me know if you have experience with this. Thanks. Wally

Those are not going to work, but you can probably get a plain steel set off of a Camaro or S-10 that will. (I am assuming a 5 lug conversion here)
There are also some low priced aftermarket black steel wheels that might give you the look you like out there.

Right, front wheel drive cars use wheels with a completely different offset that would not be compatible with rear wheel cars. I am not sure what the bolt pattern is too, it may be different than the standard 5 x 4 3/4" GM. Many cars went to a metric pattern that is slightly different.

You could by wheel adapters to go from Vega 4 on 4 to Cavalier, 5 on 100mm, or Impala, 5 on 115mm. They come in several thicknesses to compensate for the offset. Just buy good billet aluminum ones that are hub centric. Over the years I have driven well over 100K miles using them on S10's with late model Vette wheels.
