76 monza v8 brake combination valve

Postby jim327monza » Tue Aug 19, 2014 6:41 pm

Hi , I am working on a 76 2+2 v8 with s-10 swap. I need to replace the combination valve. Dose anybody know the correct front/ rear split point for the 76 up Monzas? Carolina Classic Trucks carries a large supply of factory style valves so I just need to match thread sizes and split points.
Thanks Jim H

Art, I don't thing this valve is good for any thing but a greasy paperweight . As I said in the previous post Carolina Classic Trucks caries a large selection of factory style combination valves. These are designed to bolt in. As you are going from a 75 to 76 you may need to do some modification. Cost around $80.00 each As soon as I figure out witch one fits I will post the part number. If you want this valve body , let me know and I will send it to you.

JIM I AM GOING TO THE 76 MONZA MASTER AND I CANNOT USE ANY OF THE PARTS FROM THE 75 SETUP AS THE LINES ARE REVERSED AND DIFFERENT. IF YOU HAVE THE WHOLE PIECE, WITH THE BRACKET, LINES AND VALVE, THEN I CAN USE THE PARTS. COULD YOU LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE AND THEN WE CAN GO FROM THERE. THANKS ART

Art, I don't think I can help you as I am just replacing the combination valve. I will reuse the lines and brackets. All I need to do is find out the factory front/rear
bias to ensure that I order the correct valve. Unless you can find a doner car, you will haft to make your lines. There will be 5 lines on the 76 & up valves.
2 3/8-24 for the front 1 9/16-18 to rear 1 1/2-20 to mc for front and 1 7/16-24 to mc for rear.
