S10 spindles

has anyone used the S10 dropped spindles? if so was there any issues ? I have a 77 monza prostreet and i want to lower the front suspension. I like the idea of the larger brakes but if there will be problems with this set up then i will just cut the springs.

Had that setup on my 79 sunbird. I liked the ride height with the setup. But I switched to reg s10 spindles and cut the springs. Just have to watch tire height and width as far as I could tell. Mine sits about the same height with the cut springs but keeps me from bottoming out as much due to the stiffer springs. You might be better off cutting the springs to your desired height. A lot of work unless you get it right the first time. Lol
My tires are 205/45/16 on front.

thanks for the info. I thought i might be better off cutting the springs but i figured it does hurt to see if someone used the lowered spindle first. again thanks bill.

You're welcome. I'm surprised no one else chimed in. It's always good to get several opinions/experiences.
Anyhow my springs were 13.25"to 13.5"before cutting them.
I cut them to 12.5" which may be a little low for my liking. I was hoping to be able to get my floor jack under the k member.
The ride height and handling are fine though.
Thought I had it on the money until I drove it a few times.
Then it settled and dropped close to where it was with the drop spindles maybe a smidge lower.
I had new springs on standby but haven't wanted to mess with it again.
