Center/drag link

Postby Monza350350 » Sat Mar 07, 2015 10:22 pm

Does anyone know where I can get a center drag link for a Monza at? All the auto parts stores want over $300 for one. If I don't have a choice, then I'm stuck buying one through them. I thought I would ask everyone first.

Thank you :th:

Do you need one for manual or power steering? I'm pretty sure I have a new one for power.

The car had power steering. I got the manual gearbox for it though.

Mine is still in the box I received it in, haven't even opened it, model #DS889. As long as your manual box is the larger Monza box and not the smaller Vega one, it works with both power and manual steering. If you have the smaller Vega box, the part number is DS816. I'll sell it for $150. I'm in Clawson so you could drive over to look at it if you want. email hammerdown@wowway.com

If they are asking $300 for it I would be willing to bet they are referring to a power steering centerlink which are very hard to find. If Dick has one for $150 that would be a good deal. If anyone else needs one (DS889) let me know. cjbiagi@yahoo.com
