most of the guys with the v-8 vegas seem to go for the 5526 coil springs(v-6 monza with AC. think the others you mentioned are for monza v-8. these springs work best in 75 and up vegas with the deep pocket lower control arms. art

I'm looking for the best spring to use
with the shallow pocket a-arm.

76 should have deep pocket control arms so you may not need to cut V6 AC springs,
you may want to try them first.
If you do the S10 brake swap you can use 2" drop spindles instead of guessing how much cutting one coil will lower the front end.
It depends on how low you want it and how heavy your engine is.
and If the car has AC, automatic trans, power steering, power brakes.
what parts are aluminum, intake, water pump, cylinder heads, radiator, master cylinder ?
cast iron exhaust manifolds or headers?
battery relocated to rear of the car ?

Earlier you posted it had the shallow pocket a-arm, confusing when you now post you have '76 front end in it.

1973383 posted he had shallow control arms.
He is not the original poster who has a 76 with deep pocket control arms.
