Control Arm End Caps Installation help

Postby dindin » Sat Jul 09, 2016 9:51 am

I am reinstalling my control arms on my 75 Cosworth and the top was easy, however the lower control arms I am having a problem when installing the end caps ..is their a trick to getting these things in with such tight clearance?? Some way to hold the end caps while I push in the control arm without them keeping on popping out?? I was thinking maybe some strip calk behind them to hold the ends caps to the frame of the car, but maybe someone has trick..

the lip on the cap faces the bushing and fits inside the bushing. hammer them in then the whole assembly slides into the body.
