I have loose control arms

You want the centerline of the bushings axis to the center of the ball joint.

But the rest of it i don't understand

The Left Hand Arm will be symmetrical because that's the way General Motors did things at the time

You see what i measured with. The numbers presented are certainly plus or minus .010"
They are probably within .005". That's less than the thickness of 2 sheets of copy paper.

The fact that the numbers came out as even, English fractions is no surprise either because that's also the way that GM did things at the time.

Parts that were drawn up when English measurements were the standard normally remained dimensioned in English for the life of the part. When Metric started creeping in, new parts were dimensioned in MM and the old parts remained English. Which is why, for several years even into the mid 1990s, you had English and Metric fasteners on the same new cars, metric thickness piston rings on English-sized pistons, etc

Let me know if you need more
