13 inch tires

Postby 73 307 GT » Tue Jan 24, 2017 10:44 pm

Has anyone used these tires? Also, their specs list the diameter at 21.7 inches. I'm wondering if they would look too small.

For my tastes, those would look small. The stock tire is roughly 24 inches.

I agree with Dick, I think the 205's on my wagon look to small I can't imagine what 185's would look like.

That's what I was thinking. 185/70 is about the same as an A70, I believe.

The tire listed is a 60 series, not a 70 series, so it's even shorter. 205/60-13 has been used often, still shorter than stock on a Cosworth which came with BR70-13. Equivalent would be 195/70-13.

205/60/13's are available in the 595 and SS657 models. The latter are M+S.

Not sure if they are still available, but I've used two or three sets of 205/60s from Sumitomo with good results. Just a tad short but work well. I think I got them from tire rack several years ago.

I think 205's will fit very nice. Check out Cooper Cobra and toyo tires. They are available in 205/60R13 as well.

Where are you getting those Cooper Cobra tires? They haven't been listed on their website in many years.
Toyo only makes expensive Proxes racing tires in 13".
Very, VERY little choices in 13" tires today.

Wasn't there someone in the Cosworth Vega world on Facebook that was taking orders for 205/60-R13 BFG Radial T/As and having them made in Mexico?
