To disassemble combination valve. 1)mount in vice and remove switch with 6 point socket. 2)Remove rear piece using 6 point socket. rear proportioning spring and valve will come out. spring is deep inside body and may need some coaxing. 3) Place combination valve body in vice so that front metering valve cap is squeezed into cavity until end cap is almost flush with valve body. This allows c clip removal. 4) With c clip removed use two flat blade screwdrivers to remove metering valve cap. grab metering valve pin with needle nose pliers and pull out. 5) use a drift pin and hammer if needed to drive safety valve shuttle switch pin out back of valve body. 6) Clean body using dremel tool and wire wheels. small internal bore can be cleaned with rifle brushes either by hand or mounted in drill. Clean with brake cleaner and compressed air.
