Hello,
I posted a similar question a while back on the other board, but it's gone now...
Anyway, I have a complete S-10 rear with 3.42 gears that I can transfer the brackets to and run the stock 4-link suspension in my '74 Panel. I also have a '75 Cosworth rear with 3.73 gears that I can put the S-10 axles in, but I'll have to mod the chassis to use the panhard bar, and swap out the backing plates to get the bigger brakes. I'm not planning on doing any (well, not much, anyway) racing, but can the 4-link style rear be modded to eliminate the wheel hop? My '74 hatchback was terrible. Do the raised mount points for the upper bars really help? I'm leaning towards installing the 4-link mounts on the S-10 rear, but I want to know if i can kill the wheel hop before it starts.
Thanks,
Dave D.
