My frame is rusted out under battery box .Ive been trying to figure out a way to mark it for a good straight cut. Any ideas on this anyone done this before.Its rusty from the front to about three inches behind the idler arm almost all is on bottom.Thanks Richard

Just for the sake of brainstorming... How about one of those laser leveling doodlies...

try laying masking tape across where you want to cut then follow the tape edge i choped the top on a 52 ford truck and used that method to get my cuts straight

look for the factory hles in the frame section they are normally a good place to messure from
