Carpet kits

I'm looking for some feedback.

I know there are a couple of companies I have referenced for carpet kits from you who have done replacements. (porno red of course!)

I'm also seeing two companies on e-bay who are listing "factory authorized" or some such buzz word descriptions offering complete kits. However upon further review "complete" seems to omit the rear deck area and the rear fenders...

I've contacted both of these companies two times with no reply from either on the question of rear carpet. Being a small business I generally figure that if you don't care enough to help me; I don't care enough to spend my money with you. I'd never survive with that type of customer support!

Has anyone here used either of these companies and what are your thoughts on their product? Thanks.

Todd, I used a carpet from Auto Custom Carpets. It fit fairly well, although I think they may use the same carpet for all Monza floorpans even though the 75's are different. The holes were not exactly right. I would use them again but try and get it without any holes. As far as the back, you can purchase extra carpet by the yard, but it's up to you to fit it in. You can have a upholstery place put a edge on it, but as far as the sides you are on your own. I kept the old pieces in place as a backer, and applied the new carpet right over it. There is nothing preformed.........

what really interests me is HOW did you get new carpet to stick to your old backing ??? did you "shave it first " ??????
