you can be lucky ...............or unlucky
heat and lots of it can help weld a nut to whats left of your broken stud I managed to get 2 of mine out thats all and had to drill the rest :(

I can cut em out with a torch and not even hurt the threads in the manifolds. 8)
Is there enough sticking out to get vice grips on them? If so heat the manifold all around the stud, when it's red hot the stud will spin right out.
If they are broke off flush you'll have to drill them and use an easy out but you still want to heat the manifold. Drill as small of a hole as you can and use a small easy out. Too big of a hole and the stud may expand when you drive an easy out in it and it'll be harder to turn.
Steve has a good idea too, welding a nut on the stud.
