Quarter window seals/weatherstriping-(vega)

Are these available anywhere. I noticed the seals for the pop-out rear quarter windows are dried out and cracked-(arizona sun)

Metro and Steele will not make these bexause "there is no demand" for them. I'll take a set please. I remember Josh made some from a different weatherstrip.
The only Vega's that only had a little rust were the ones still on the assembly line.

There has been some talk over on the Yahoo Cosworth Vega group site about getting enough support for getting a batch made up, but I don't know how well it is going. They had some made up a few years ago, but from what I hear they didn't fit well.

I have a pair on my car from when the cvoa had them reproduced by metro. They fit poorly but than again, they are made by metro. I wouldn't get crap from them. Oh wait, that is exactly what I got, crap. That is on three different cars. Vega, malibu, and camaro. All the stuff fit poorly and that is being kind.
Any one can restore a car but, it takes a real man to cut one up.

My '77 Monza has dried up little strips of rubber coming out of the glass on the outside. Is this the stuff you are talking about? I think if the car goes back on the road without them the windows will all rattle and leak. I was hoping that someone like Soft Seal would have them. My plan B was to go to a place that replaces car window glass and see what they have available. I haven't got that far yet, but it's something I'll have to deal with at some point. I guess in short - Hey, I need to buy some of that too. H body stuff on eBay seems to sell pretty good. I'll bet if someone could come up enough stuff to put together 100 kits, they would sell them all. Maybe you guys will come up with an easy and cheap solution before I get that far. :)
