Not sure, I used a ACC carpet in my 75 and while it fit ok, I think it may fit the later cars better since 75's have a bigger center hump. I believe they all use the same mold for all years. I found the holes that were cut for the seats really didn't line up and the rubber heel pad runs up the side of the hump more than it should. Most carpet kits don't seem to run up the firewall far enough either. I have had it in there since the mid 90's and it's ok but if I ever replace it again I would get some extra material and seam it like they do with house carpet and extend it more up the firewall. I asked this same question a while back, never got a real good solution.

I checked their site and they do have a ebay listing for a Monza carpet http://stores.ebay.com/Bens-Auto-Parts_ ... mit=Search This is the first time I have seen a 2 piece carpet for a H body. Is this how yours was? I am wondering if it is just a generic pic or what. Did it have holes in it for the seats? How did it fit on the firewall? Pics please :)
Ooops, as I looked again it does say the pic is generic, so was it sewn or press molded?

it is one piece and there were no holes . thats was what i liked about it . i put it in and let sit for a few days so it can shape itself to the car i also put sound mat under it thats why i let it sit for a few days . then i made the holes i needed .go to my garage section for pictures. i also got the piece for the rear of the wagon

That center hump looks about the same size as my 75, I thought the humps got smaller on later years? It appears that the carpet goes up the firewall pretty nice from what I can see. Nice looking car :th: Al, if you decide to use this carpet I would love to see some pics and hear your comments.

adealsap@aol.com has carpet on ebay # 400036516371 it looks good, is the only mfgr that mentions dimmer switch grommet.
Is listed as a GM restoation part.
Has anyone tried this company?

I purchased my carpet from them. I was sold on the fact they do not cut holes. Also came with dimmer grommet and heel pad, which I opted to have not glued to carpet for later intallation. I was impressed with how well it fit that I did not glue it down. Did use a heat gun to get it to bend and lay flat in only a few areas. Strangley enough it came in a ACC box.

I used the ACC carpet in my 80.
It was a PITA to install as it had a bunch of 1/2 jute backing glued to it right where I needed to cut for the gear shift/console.
Jute does NOT cut well even with a carpet knife.
All in all the fit was acceptable, if I was to order again I would try and delete the backing and just use insulation pads on the floor.
