Door panels, dash, seats and carpet are pretty well interchangeable among all Vegas, but there are some differences in rear side panels between early(spring holds the hatch up) and late(pressurized strut). Also watch out for the hatchback vs. wagon & sedan differences; headliner, A & B pillar covers and rear side panels are different.

I thought I read another post here that the door panels from hatch to notch were a little different size too.

~~swapping out the interior roofline trim (74 vega) that secures the headliner above both doors. Is there a trick to removing this interior trim? I got the one out of the 75 Cosw., but it destroyed itself. It seems to have a spongy constructed white plastic latch of some sort that needs to be released before it will let loose.
I got the remaining headliner out to try to use as a template. It is as crumbly as a graham cracker. It is warped worse than the atlantic ocean. I am considering saturating it with water so it will lay flat, but I don't know if it will disintegrate. Any ideas? ....Peace
