floor replacement

Postby gtstc » Tue Mar 27, 2012 3:17 pm

I know that BADSUNBIRD had a nice thread but a few things were left out. What do you do with the frame connectors attached to the floor? Im doing a complete replace ment (pedals to tail light) on a 77 mirage and could use all the help I can get.

Well, now that we've resurrected a zombie thread, I've often wondered whether one could make use of 3rd Gen Camaro floors. After all, the 3rd Gen is much closer in size the the H's.

We used sheet metal from a washing machine cabinet. Same gauge as the metal used in the Vega. Also the lip on the bottom edge of the cabinet has the same bend as the door sheet metal if you need to repair a door bottom edge.

I settled on floor pans from CJPONYdotcom from a 65 Mustang. They were 32.00 dollars each---danfigg
