Anyone have a solution to a warped headliner? They all seem to be warped, so I'm hoping someone has figured out a good fix! :? I recently came up with a fix for the rusted out rear bumper guards! :th:

All of the headliners in my Vegas are warped, but I got the one in my Monza Coupe out in pretty good condition. I plan to use the cardboard backing as a pattern, and transfer it to thin plastic sheeting used for walls in damp areas. I got mine at Menards in the panelling department. It cuts easy with an Exacto. I hope to use it as a pattern for the Vega wagon I'm working on. I've heard of people using a light mist of water and applying weight, but mine in the Vega was so brittle my hand went through it any time I touched it. Tread lightly if you have a decent original!

Let me know how the plastic works out. I'll probably try the water & weight trick 1st. :th:
