Hello

New TAN Carpet 1976 monza 2+2 - I found a press fit one on ebay for Camaro, 1969 I think, can I cut it in ½ down the middle and hide the joint under the console, as the Camaro is wider ??

Now I found that summit racing actually have one for Monza, they just don't state the color and their homepage is hard to navigate in, so I am afraid to order the wrong one.

Would it be easier, to cut and make fit, the one you know the color on, than order the suppose ly right size in the wrong color?

It looks ok but it is thin and fragile and now I burnt a hole in it, yes I lifted the carpet, but not the backing when I welded the new trans mount.

Any body have done the kind of work lately ?

Thanks from Erik

Thanks Mike

I am on it , I have filled out the customer part, so I think it will be ok

I just have some problems with the shipping as they have 2 different kinds of shipping and they set it up as I have to pay for both the cheap and the faster shipping, but I will figure it out.

You really have a nice Vega

Thanks Mike - - hi from Erik

Thanks Erik for the kind words.

Good luck with the install.

Not sure if they make cargo area cuts for the Monza, but they do for the Vega hatch.
Also, you can buy the small piece that bonds to the rear seat flap that's visible when seat is laid down.

Thanks Mike

The carpet from Rock auto is here already, just the import tax was $100, Denmark is really good at taxing, you must hand them that.

I have not got it out of the box yet, but I look forward to that, I think I will put it outside in the sun, on one of the first hot spring days, and get it nice and warm before installing it

I checked the color, I think it is right on, I will post some pictures later.

Thanks from Erik
