Yes, I have read your post with much interest! Like cjbiagi told me, keep us posted with any updates
As a matter of fact, before I tested AutoX and RoadRacing, I didn´t really think that much about what makes a vehichle handle well, especially round corners. I was quite aware what camber, caster and toe-in meant, and thought like "Well, thats all you need to know". Sort of.
How wrong I was.
For about one year ago, I bought the book "Chassis Engineering" by Herb Adams:
http://www.amazon.com/Chassis-Engineering-HP1055-Herb-Adams/dp/1557880557/I think this is a good book which explains the principles of suspension geometry and chassis design in a good, easy way. For a newbie like myself.
I know, there is tons of litterature out there, this was the one I bought.
It takes time (at least for me!) to absorb all this, but I think it´s fun. After all, it´s all about physics.
Roll angle, roll force distrubution, traction vs. load, circle of traction, offset, King Pin Inclination, Scrub radius, Camber gain, roll center, bump steer...
Now, which was what? I have to dig into the book again...
