Good luck on the budget and the build. Sounds fun.
I set a $3k limit (including the car) for my '73 Wagon autocrosser. I'm currently at the limit with shortening of the driveshaft and some brake lines to go. Of course, the budget will go up next year.... wait, it
IS next year! Hmmmmm?
Overkill Racing economy control arms
S-10 balljoints/spindles
Cut Cosworth front Springs/Cut stock rear springs
Fly-n-bye.com brake adapters to get the 4th Gen Camaro brakes on the S-10 spindle
Monzaz rear internals (3.42 Limited Slip)
Monzaz 28-spline axle shafts
Monza rear housing (torque arm needs shortened and panhard bar mounted)
4th Gen Camaro rear brakes
215 cubic inch Buick V8.... all aluminum (320 lbs)
3rd Gen Camaro T-5 5-speed with the 0.63 OD
16" IROC wheels to fit over the big brakes
REAR 225 55 on front rims.jpg
The green doors were swapped in since the originals were rotted.
I have a GT dash with factory gauges and a Tim McCabe V8 modified tach that I'll be swapping in.
The rest of the car will be stock until I get some racing seats and then some harnessess and eventually a roll bar for harness attachment.
Then to do the roll bar right, there'll be some subframe connectors..... argh.... it never ends. $$$$$$$$$
Good luck
